You can create a new group, edit its parties and main party, or delete it entirely from the Groups tab on the Prepare Contracts dashboard.
Creating a Group
- From the dashboard, click Create in the top toolbar.
- Select Create Group.
- In the right pane, search for the parties you want to include and click Find Parties.
- Add the relevant parties from the search results to the group.
- Click the Group tab and set the group's name.
- Click the Main Party tab and designate one party as the main party.
- Click Save.
Managing an existing Group
- On the Groups tab, click the name of the group you want to edit.
- Click Manage Group in the popup.
- Use the three tabs to make changes:
- Group — edit the group's name and details
- Parties — add, remove, or edit the parties in the group (each party's email, client status, and entity type are visible)
- Main Party — change which party is designated as the main party
- Click Save.
Deleting a Group
- On the Groups tab, click the name of the group you want to delete.
- Click Manage Group.
- Open the Main Party tab.
- Click Delete Group.
Deleting the group permanently removes it from Knuula for everyone in your organization, but it does not delete the parties that were part of it — those remain available for other groups and contracts.
Bulk actions on Groups
On the Groups tab, select one or more groups, then click Actions in the top toolbar to access:
- Apply Types — apply party types to the parties in the selected groups
- Apply Services — apply services to the selected groups
- Bulk Edit — edit field values across multiple groups at once
- Export Items — export the selected groups
- Sync Party Keys — keep party keys aligned
- Archive Parties — archive the parties in the selected groups
Please note: Deleting a group does not delete the parties inside it, but it does remove the group association from any contracts that were tied to it. If a group contract is in flight, revoke or revise it before deleting the group.
