How to Send Engagement Letters in Bulk

Knuula is built for bulk engagement letter production. Whether you're sending to a handful of clients or your entire book of business, you can prepare and send multiple engagement letters at once — with options to review, schedule, or route for partner approval along the way.

1. Go to the Parties page and select the clients you want to send to. Use the top-left checkbox to select all clients currently displayed, or check individual clients manually.
2. Click the Prepare Contracts button.
3. Select the template you want to send to the selected clients.
4. In the dynamic review window, use the left column to click through each client's letter and review it before sending.
5. When ready, choose your sending option:
   • Create and Send — sends immediately to clients (or routes to assigned partners for approval first)
   • Schedule Send — sends at a future date and time
   • Send for Approval — routes all letters to their assigned partners for review before the client receives them

Sending beyond 250 clients

By default, the Parties page displays up to 250 clients at a time. If you have the bulk creation permission and more than 250 parties are selected, clicking Prepare Contracts will present two options: Prepare Selected or Prepare More Than 250. Without this permission, bulk sending is limited to what is currently displayed on the page.

Using filters to send in smaller batches

Many firms prefer to send in chunks rather than all at once. Use the filters on the left side of the Parties page to narrow your list by document type or service type. Once filtered, click the top-left checkbox to select the narrowed results, then click Prepare Contracts and follow the same sending process. This gives you more control over each group before it goes out.

Please note: If a partner is assigned to a letter, Knuula automatically routes it to the correct partner — no manual routing required. If no partner is assigned, the letter goes directly to the client.
