How to Revoke, Resend, or Send a Reminder for a Contract

Revoking, resending, and sending reminders all happen from the same dropdown on the Contracts page.

All three actions — revoking a contract, resending it, and sending a reminder — live in the same menu on the Contracts page. Sending a reminder is also the recommended first step when a client says their signing link isn't working, because it issues a fresh link.

  1. Go to the Contracts page.
  2. Click the title of the contract to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Choose the action you need:
    • Send Reminder — resends the signing link and attaches the contract.
    • Revoke — invalidates the existing contract so you can recreate or resend it.
    • Change Status — adjusts the contract's status when needed.

If you revised a contract that has already been opened by the client, sending a reminder is enough — it pushes the updated version to them.

Please note: If you need to add a CC, a spouse, or change other party-level details after sending, you generally need to revoke the contract and create a new one. These items cannot be added to a contract that has already been sent.
