How to Revise a Contract After Its Been Sent
If you need to make a change to a contract that has already been sent to a client, Knuulas Revise feature lets you update it directly without starting over.

Opening the revision editor
- From the Contracts dashboard, click the on the contract title and select Revise Contract.
- Alternatively you can select view contract and then click the revise button after the contract opens.
Making changes
- With the revision editor open, scroll through the document preview on the right side of the screen.
- Any field that can be edited will appear underlined in the document.
- Click directly on the field you want to change — Knuula will automatically open the corresponding edit area in the panel on the left, where you can update the value.
Saving and applying your changes
- When you're done making edits, click Next.
- Toggle Confirm Action to acknowledge that all prior inputs from the recipient will be removed when the contract is remade.
- Under Saving Options, choose Update Contract Only to apply changes to this contract alone, or Update Contract and Party to also update the underlying client record.
- Under Notifications, choose Revise Only if you don't want to notify the client, or Revise and Notify Parties to send them an email about the updated contract.
- Click Revise Contract to apply your changes.
Please note: Revising a sent contract will remove all prior inputs already entered by the recipient. Make sure you intend to reset their responses before proceeding.
